after doing the 5pm shift at the festival maze irealised that the maze is more cool at night!
its more cool not just because its at night, its also due to the orange and blue lights lighting up the maze lol very nice!
there are also more ppl askin for the arts fest info instead of askin for landmarks and directions...lol

movie review!
INDIANA JONES: KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL
this movie very often makes use of references to the previous indiana jones movies...as such it might be better, although not necessary, to arm yourself with some background knowledge of indiana jones if you havnt watched the other movies in this series...
harrison ford is indiana jones again, back in his same role. the story is about russian agents going after mysterious artifacts and they forcefully abducted indiana jones, bringing him into a US military base to help them find the artifact. ok cant describe too much here or it will become spoilers lol...
the movie's postproduction gives it a unique 'retro' movie look that is fitting to the show, and the soundtrack is rather 'retro' as well...lol
ratings[++++ ] 4/5

art review!
LOL so tired after the arts fest todae...caught a movie with hofai, mojo, jefry, evan, bear at plaza sing lol...which will be reviewed in another blogpost...
after movie helped out at the festivalmaze...then went to boatquay for the waterfools performance which was very nice and highly recommended...its sort of an opening performance for the arts fest this yr...the crowd was relli alot...and even the president was there!
so cool...before the actual waterfools show there were roving performers arnd boatquay...there was this man on a piano-cycle which was so funny yet awesome...and a high energy drum performance too...
the waterfools performance can only be described as pure entertainment...victorian-era dressed performers doing their stuff on water...sparks and fire on water...and operatic music...all culminating in a spectacular fireworks-laden finale...wow lol

as some of mi frens would already know, im involved in this yrs arts festival as a volunteer...which means offering free labour to the arts festival haha...although most of the work requirement would require the volunteers to act as 'representatives' of the arts festival at the festival maze which is beside cityhall mrt...
i would be posting pictures and blogposts of the festival maze which is rather nice and artistic...as well as the experiences helping out at the festival...so do check back for more info!

titles!
this blogpost will touch on nuffnang titles, or rather innit titles, as well as how to fix your titles to one of the hot topics which are 'in-fashion'. perhaps this would be one way to increase blogviews?
ok firstly, this will be an experiment so im not sure whether this theory of putting trendy keywords on innit titles would help to increase blogviews, but hey this is an experiment, and experiments are useful in confirming hypotheses...itink...

as you can infer from the screenshot, there are 4 topics out of 10 which are sex-related, namely

yay thanks nuffnang!
WOW i got 2 advertisments notifications in 2 days!
relli was quite surprised since i didnt had any adverts deals for a while since the global cpc adverts...so was abit stunned when i received the email for spring f&b running their adverts in june...and even more stunned when yesterae i received another one which said singapore press holdings will run their red nano adverts starting todae!?!?
and i needed to quickly rush to include a leaderboard nuffnang on this blog haha...hmm blogger was quite laggy yesterdae so i thought it was the leaderboard ad that was screwing the blog with the lag...
ok yesterdae was quite fierce...played streetsoccer in the morning with 12th platoon guys...quite relaxing style played until this other group of kids came challenged us...and its like kena trashed lol...each of them dribble like crazy...and can score goals easily...other than their goalkeeper...so after awhile we played basketball...then lunch...then partyworld!?!?
lol and i won the nuffnang tix for the prince caspian narnia preview...but duntink will be going for it coz ive got work on mondae zz...haiz...aniwae gotta start reading up the arts fest booklet...haha

wad did fastwebcounter do?
if you use fastwebcounter for your blog hit counter, and used it for quite a longtime, did you realise that the hit counter had reset itself?
not sure about other users of fastwebcounter...mebbe your's did not reset...
aniwae, few daes ago, i found out that the hit counter was reset to 1!?!? tot it was a glitch with their servers or software or wadever...but its still at the same state...does anione know how to solve this hit counter prob?

wow this is like a composition essay question haha...to get the gala tix...but seems fun so here is the blogpost!
EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW
Since ive watched the cinema Narnia trailer for a fewtimes, one would be safe to say that this movie would score at least a 3/5 and mebbe even 5/5 for most critics and reviewers. perhaps the one thing that could be improved on was the battlescene which were not as grand as some of the other movies due to the small armies involved.
however the water elemental in the trailer was like 'omg so cool' lol...but of course we dun watch the movie just for the water elementals...the wonderful thing that the director did was to use the same actors/actresses for the main leads.
ok this should be a good movie to catch, probably targetted at students during the hols...and fans of the series would most likely put this instalment on the mustwatch list.

concert review
after the speedracer movie, choonhwee, jefry, hofai and mi went to the atrium beside plazasing to decide wad to do nxt coz there was still awhile before the concert starts at hcjc...and we realised that there was nt much to do lol so we went to the zone x arcade...and after few minutes, were relli sian of the arcade and so went out the arcade...there was like this class outing being held outside the pcbunk(aka fashion gaming centre coz of the fashion parade unknowingly held by the gamers there)...
we decided after some discussion to go to the cathay for dinnr but the food there so expensive so we just went for kopitiam beside the smu campus...ok then went in smu campus to explore...according to hofai, it was like a 'fortress' coz its very big...hmm lol but the underpass in smu was quite impressive...and hofai tot the shops at the side were simulations for the smu students lol...
took a bus to coronationplaza and bought flowers for mi cousin whu would be playing the viola during the concert.
wad a long preamble...now for the review!
being very early at hcjc, lol we certainly got some of the best seats for the concert.
the INSPIRATIONS VIII concert was held by the huachongjc stringensemble and if u rmb one of the previous blogpost where there was an advertisement for this concert, jefry, himself an ex-hcjc student, commented that...
'if i not wrong they nv take in noobs into strings'

and rightly so coz imo the ensemble were technically skilled...and played the pieces very well.
the first piece played was the Holberg Suite in 5mvts by Grieg...perhaps the ensemble were nervous at the start coz there were a few errors but not too serious though...by the 3rd mvt the ensemble had swung into high gear and finished the remainder of the suite with finesse. according to jefry, he felt that the ensemble could have handled the pauses between mvts better.
the 2ndpiece was inspirational, and very fitting to the theme of the concert. the piece played was Moz-Art a la Haydn by Schnittke, sort of a remix of different Mozart compositions. the piece started off interestingly with a cacophony of disturbing sounds and disorganisation, while the concertmistress and the vicepresident of the ensemble carved out their own music in the state of chaos created by their fellow ensemble players...the piece ended in a creative way, as the musicians left the stage one-by-one even as the piece slowly finished.
after the intermission, the audience were treated to serenade in c major, 3rd and 4th mvts, by Tchaikovsky and the stringensemble relli shone in these 2 pieces. jefry noted that the ensemble seemed to have agreed on how to handle the pauses between mvts. the 2mvts were relli enjoyable...with the rich flavours of the music emanating from stage...
the rest of the pieces were shorter and faster paced as well as more lighthearted. it was easy to tell that the ensemble were enjoying the fast pieces...especially one piece which was played fully in pizzicato mode...the ensemble played one encore piece before wrapping up the concert.
in all, an enjoyable concert, for the audience and even for the ensemble too...
in an interview with the president of the stringensemble, she remarked...
'i think we had quite a lot of fun

movie review!
yeah movie reviews again!
this review is about speedracer the movie, which according to hofai n jefry was adapted from an anime called speedracer...
ok lets get the review going!
this movie has a retro feel to it due to the bright colours and contrasts, which itink suits the movie very well...the story is about speed racer, yeah thats the main actor's screen name, not his job...speed racer is a racer too, and his dad's company, racer motors or smthing liddat designs and builds race cars.
ok to maintain the integrity of this blog there shall not be too many spoilers about the movie so spoilers will be limited...
basically the story of the movie is speed racer going up against the large car manufacturers who have the habit to fixing the grandprix competitor position so that they benefit businesswise...very sly eh...but speedracer would not allow himself to damage the integrity of the grandprix so he teams up with an organisation which hunts down unsportsmanship behaviour...mainly of the large corporations since they have the money to 'screw the rules', as kaiba from yugioh would quote...

this show is very value for money as the duration is arnd 2hrs...the racing scenes are very exciting and keeps the audience at the edge of their seats...isuppose...the grandprix race that speedracer participates in is very fierce, and although the show is heavily cg, it gives the movie a cartoony atmosphere that works...trixie is quite pretty although the retro outfit is lol...jefry commented on trixie early on when trixie made an appearance but lol itink trixie is still quite cute la...lol ok another thing is the korean superstar rain whu didnt just play a cameo role in the movie but had quite a large role...this is hilarious coz rain had been dominating the premovie advertisements for the prev months with his advertisements as well as in the movietrailers...however his acting skills are quite good lol...

wanted to go bugis to buy some artsupplies lol so went there by train...shopped arnd bugis junction for slingbags at ZINC but those bags dint relli interest mi...so jus headed to artsupplies at bbs complex which is beside the library...outside bugis LOL met mojo who was going to the library...so decided to form alliance for the outing...we went bbs first where ibought a filbertbrush and oilpaints which were so expensive...ok after that went library and mojo explored the lvl5 studyarea for his firsttime lol...very nice place to study, but an even better place to chillout lol...then the alliance decided to go sunshineplaza to check out anime/manga stuff...afterthat went plazasing where mojo eat kfc...then went midpointorchard to this gamingshop...and met evan lol so fierce but he dint join the alliance coz he was in another alliance alr and they were going to watch mvie...then went to taka n shop arnd and then bought a canvasboard and canvaspanel lol...
hmm lol the english abit chim eh, nxttime shuld use audrey's tactic in blogging...
ok theres gonna be a moviereview and a blogpost on the HCSE concert coming up...as well as a secretblogproject too lol...

blog updates!
WELCOME TO THE PRESS CONFERENCE
to continue pushing the blogviews for this blog even higher, the marketing committee has decided to introduce new gadgets and scripts to this blog...our marketing manager will explain more...
***MARKETING MANAGER***
ok now to explain the stuff on the left...
the first thing u find is the PROFILE, nthn much bout this...
ok the next thing is space for NUFFNANG adverts...yup had some degree of success with nuffnang, after about 3mths or 4mths with them, ive earned a total of $1 from those adverts...well, not bad i guess...
the next thingy is a new column for GADGETS...it would be used for all sorts of gadgets or wadever small thing scripts...currently there are 2...one is the ADDTHIS which acts like a bookmark...from some innit post ive read its supposed to INCREASE BLOGVIEWS!?wow thats a big claim but our marketing team believe that this gadget is worth it so, there u have it...
other than the ADDTHIS thing our team had went to submit an application with edirectory which is sort of an internet directory for websites?yup waiting for the approval from their management...its supposed to INCREASE BLOGVIEWS!? we'll c bout that...
there is also this andystorm thingy...and our team are waiting for his review of this blog lol...
ok the next column is not a scam...its really ART FOR SALE...if anyone is interested they could tag or email to buy it! this is for SG customers only...do keep coming back for more updates on new pieces of paintings!...
next we have the tagboard...yeah this should be no stranger to bloggers...its a tiny forum, and a tiny chatbox in one! the tagboard is closely moderated by our moderator team to filter out any content we deem unfit to be in the tagboard...please submit appeals by email...
next is LINKS...this should be familiar too lol...blogviewers are highly encouraged to click on links and not to worry about leavin this website coz the links open in a new tab...the LINKS section also has links to other affiliated websites so do check them out!
under that is BLOG ARCHIVES...which archives blogposts...simple...
ok the next one is new...its called TRACKING...dun worry its not spyware...its a gadget by MYBLOGLOG and allows other users of MYBLOGLOG to join the communities of bloggers...so if u too have an account over there plz join this community haha...the other item is called TOPLINKS and our marketing team included it coz its another device by MYBLOGLOG but they didnt read the manual so the team does not really know how to use it, or how it works yet...but we'll leave that to the engineering department...

lol omg after another listen at some of her songs i think that viola(crossover version) and skyhigh and other songs are also very nice!!!

movie review!
yeah!another movie review!
watched this movie todae with hofai, jefry, mojo, hoifai, huiren, vincent n evan...the tix were booked after the superhero movie lol so the seats were quite gd!
the thing is...the golden village vouchers cant be used for new movies!?!?very sly ar GV...might as well dun give the vouchers nexttime...or if u relli cant afford to give $2 discount then nxttime give 50cents vouchers la...ok not trying to flame golden village here...will still support ur cinemas coz of the comfy seats...and of course the wonderful gv website that is quite userfriendly...
ok now for the review...
overall, a very good movie with well-balanced plot...the suit is so cool, and the soundtrack is very fitting...although its mostly rock songs...

IRONMAN (minimal spoilers)
the movie is about ironman, the hero from marvelcomics...tonystark, of stark industries is famous for making powerful weapons systems...but when he escapes a kidnap incident by building an armoured metalsuit and blasting his way out from his captors' cave, he decides to build a more advanced piece of armoured metalsuit (with supersonic flight capabilities) for saving people...overall, a very good movie with well-balanced plot...the suit is so cool, and the soundtrack is very fitting...although its mostly rock songs...
