movie review!

hmm havnt uploaded the cosplay pics yet lol they shuld be coming up soon lol

aniwae lets start with the movie review of vantagepoint...

a very fast paced action thriller...lol with a cool idea for the first hr of the movie...the same 10min scene is repeated 5 or 6times with a different...vantagepoint lol, each story arc unveils more of the plot and develops the story furthur...the linking between the different characters and their story is very strong and this is what the movie shines at. although the movie is at 90mins or so...the pace of the movie is excellent. through the show u would be doing lots of guesswork if u wan to discover the plot, but u would be surprised often coz u would mostlikely have guessed wrongly about the plot...the action scene at the end is fierce lol especially the car chase which makes initial d look like a childish anime...

no offence here...lol

this movie is inventive and exciting...

wow the taiwan presidential elections are heating up!

locked in a two way battle between the Kuomingtang and Democraticprogressiveparty, whus going to win the elections this time round?

imo, irelli hope the kmt candidate　马英九 wins the president's seat lol...not jus coz he's more charismatic, but the kmt team relli deserve to lead taiwan this time...for proof why the dpp should step down this time u jus need to take a look at taiwan now, which is in quite a bad economic state...

another thing is the fierce advertisement campaigns run by both sides. the kmt's adverts focus on bringing hope to the people and the economy while the dpp's adverts are mostly trying to land attacks on the kmt's candidate and the party...not relli honourable eh...

ok although this taiwan election has little bearing on s'pore but u gotta admit that their elections are very interesting lol

this is one of the better of the dpp's adverts, the rest are jus trying to defame kmt and their members...which itink is the wrong way to run for presidency, or for that matter any elections...what u need to tell the public is how good u are and not how bad the opposition is...

movie review!

was with hofai and hasyir at the cathay to catch the JAPAN TOP BOX OFFICE MOVIE evangelion1.0 lol...basically its an anime styled movie...hmm actualli u could call it an animovie!?!?

aniwae...before the review starts, ive put on a new song by shimatanihitomi in the imeem playlist!

movie review
a very good movie!!!it would amaze u quite often and after watching this iwas wondering why they did not make any gundam movies...lol

the animation is very well done, fluid movements throughout the movie for both the characters and the eva units. the soundtrack is excellent...music used fits well with the storyline and the movie...infact it fits verywell, there were portions of the movie where u would be kept on the edge of ur seat more through the effect of the pounding orchestral score during the colossal battle scenes.

btw only cathay cineplexes are screening this...

if u dunlike mecha anime idun tink u would be interested...if u do then its highly recommended...doesnt matter if u prefer gundam or other mecha titles.

there has been a wave of shimataniphilia recently...after i came across this video of a ps2 game called "another century's episode 3" which features a storyline from major anime mecha titles like gundam wing, gundam seed, eureka7 and much more. shimatani hitomi, whu is a japanese/brazillian, mainly sings japanese dance pop and hi tempo tracks which fit well into any mecha anime u can name lol...her normal dance pop songs are ok, but she relli shines in the other category of songs...in fact she had done anime songs and ingame songs for other titles as well...

movie review!

this is a movie review for the movie 10000bc...watched it with jeffrey, mojo, hofai, vincent...pt, liangying n logan watched it too but at another section of the theatre...actualli it was rather impromptu decision for watching movie lol...the outing was an itfair outing...with many pics taken and some would be uploaded soon...

ok the review...might have spoilers

the trailer for this movie was quite ok...shows the main character fight some mammoth elephants with some ornate spear...yup lo-tech tribal setting...

main character is steven strait and camilla belle whu is so chio lol...

oo ijus discovered a fast way of adding pics into this blog...more pics comin up...

throughout the movie itink the director was trying to lead the viewer to believe that the show involves lo-tech stuff like spears fashioned out of wood and such...but as the viewers watch on...there are many surprises

the movie starts with the tribe having a food shortage and they are in need of more mammoths for food...the main character had won the rights to take the ornate spear n the very pretty girl by managing to bring down a mammoth...then some other tribe came on horses...which seemed to be 4legged monsters...and raided their tribe area...thus began a search for those hi-tech enemy tribe...along the way they encountered other tribes whu also wanted to get back at those horsemen and very quickly a decent army was raised when more tribes joined in...turns out that the main character was the chosen one to lead them against those horsemen...then theres a scene which is rather stunning...the horsemen escapes on ships!?!?and its not rafts but large galleys!the lo-tech tribes people then had to trek across some desert until the reach the place where those horsemen were headed...and they arrived at the building site of a pyramid!?!?most prob the horsemen were egyptians and they even tamed mammoths to use as trucks...the prob is that they were using too many slaves...and too many mammoths...after some skirmishes, the main character n his gang caused a rebellion rather easily...the movie ended quite well...

ok...yahoo movies gave it quite a low score...but this blog?

after action review for the travel fair...

on fridae...quite little ppl at the start but the crowd started streaming into the expo halls...iwas seated near the 'main walkways' or wadever u call it and it was so cold due to the aircon vents situated somewhere near...the coldness was a level more than vivocity aircon lol

some ntu engineering students are involved with chanbrothers as well, raising funds for their engineering camp committee. they were working as runners, ushering customers to the consultants. ihad the chance to talk to 2 of them boonbee and zhiyun(itink it was zhiyun) and they seem very enthu about the fair. lol itink even iwas enthu about the fair coz the atmosphere was so vibrant...even though iwas doing cashiering lol.

met some familiar ppl lol...one of them is the ex-principal of ajc! thanks for booking a tour with chanbrothers! lol

another was elaine!? itink she was trying to disturb mi lol...she wore this revealing blackdress n idunno how she managed to avoid freezing. elainesmum was much friendlier...while elaine herself keep giving that punkrocker smile...
